Big Things Happen So Fast!

So, I know, I've been lacking on the whole blogging thing. I'm starting to suck at this. But, I'm not going to quit!

Things seem to be happening quite quickly around here. No one seems to waste their time. The landlord has been bringing people over to look at the house, non-stop, since we told them we were moving out. Matt quickly took a weekend off from being a daddy, but I wont get into that. I went and looked at an apartment, which happens to be bigger than the house I live in now, and not even close to being as ugly, and I want want want it so bad! And even though the girl I work with, who is also a superintendent there, said the place was mine, when I called the other girl today, who showed me the apartment, she said she wouldn't know till tomorrow. What's that about? Bleh. I've already started packing, little by little. A month goes by faster than ever these days, and I don't want to cram it all into one week...it's just not fair to Alexis. I'm just hoping I get this apartment, otherwise I have NO idea what I'm going to do.

And today, oh today! What a fun fun day, full of great things that will forever be marked into my brain! October 5th! Such a big day!
This morning, my girl decides it's a good day to show off and get up and stand there, alone...I mean, she has done this before...stood there. But it's the way she stood up, like she had been doing it her whole life! And, I was proud!

don't mind her pants not being done up...she crawled away from me before I could get the snaps done up...and then she goes and does something cute...go figure...lol

And then we finger painted! Well, she painted herself instead of the paper! But she was so happy with her artwork all over her leg, and so was I!

And then my girl walked! (i don't have pics, sadly, but i do have video!) She walked like she had been walking forever! And I have never been so proud of her!! The first time she walked alone, she took 7 steps to the dog! I couldn't believe what I was seeing! And then she did it over and over and over again, and I just couldn't get enough of seeing it, it's the cutest thing in the world!! I'm so proud of her, for finally realizing it's not scary, for getting the courage to let go! Ah, my baby girl is growing up so fast!

And to think not even a week ago, my doctor tried to tell me Alexis is behind because she isn't walking yet! BULLSHIT! I knew I didn't have to worry about that, she is now only 2 days shy of 15 months old! He also said she should be talking more than she is. I already thought about that. She doesn't say very many words. But if she starts talking the same way she started walking, my girl will come out in full sentences before I know it! I know my girl is smart, I don't care that my doctor is trying to tell me that my girl is behind. She knows what people are talking about when they say something to her. She just doesn't like to come out and say anything. She will. It'll come, and I am fine with that. I will worry about it later if I have to, but I don't think there's a problem yet.

I am sad to say, when I move, Alexis and I wont have the company of our puppy dog. I hate to even think what Alexis is going to do with her puppy. Alexis and Mya are best friends. Alexis loves her more than anything. They play together all the time and Alexis laughs at her constantly. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do, and if it means no puppy dog, then that's the way it is. It's just getting harder to see them love each other day in and day out, knowing it'll end very soon.

Anyways, bedtime for me.
Nite nite

Xoxo
